On Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 May, the second edition of ARCHITECT@WORK Brussels will take place in sheds 1 and 2 at Tour & Taxis.
Meanwhile, the entire programme has been finalised down to the last detail. What to expect?
As usual, and like any other ARCHITECT@WORK, the Brussels event will run under a central theme. This year's theme is ‘Super Skin’, which not only refers to the outer skin of buildings, but many finishes can also have a Super Skin inside. As usual, visitors can discover numerous features, such as CONSTRUCTION IV by sculptor Conrad Willems or SUPER SKINS, MaterialDistrict's materials exhibition. A total of six interesting seminars will be offered on both days. Two examples: Tim Fu of Studio Tim Fu Ltd who talks about the use of AI in architecture, and Michiel Riedijk of Neutelings Riedijk Architects, who explains the renovation of Gare Maritime (on the site of Tour & Taxis) realised by his firm.
