Michiel Riedijk

Michiel Riedijk - Neutelings Riedijk Architecten (Founder & Architect)

 

Michiel Riedijk (born 1964) studied architecture at the Technical University in Delft, the Netherlands, where he graduated with a Masters in Architecture in 1989. In 1992, he founded the Rotterdam-based firm Neutelings Riedijk Architects together with Willem Jan Neutelings. Michiel Riedijk is also a professor at the
Faculty of Architecture at Delft University of Technology and recognised as an International Fellow of the RIBA.


Over the past 30 years, Neutelings Riedijk Architects has developed into a leading firm specialising in the design and realisation of complex projects for public, commercial and cultural buildings. Some exemplary works include the Naturalis Biodiversity Center in Leiden, Gare
Maritime in Brussels, the MAS Museum in Antwerp, the Institute for Sound and Vision in Hilversum and Cultural Centre 'Rozet' in Arnhem.


Michiel Riedijk regularly lectures at universities, cultural institutions and symposiums and sits on various juries, both in the Netherlands and abroad. The work of Neutelings Riedijk Architects has gained worldwide recognition through numerous publications, international awards and exhibitions around
around the world.
